While the world waits breathlessly for the Apple tablet, or the iSlate, Bangalore based Notion Ink has launched Adam—the world’s first 10.1-inch tablet with Pixel Qi display. Pixel Qi is a display made from standard LCD material,
but only uses half the power of a normal LCD.
It also has an e-paper mode usually seen on e-Book Readers. This tablet runs on Android and is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra processor. The Notion Ink is expected to start shipping by June 2010 for $325.
